2 months old!
Jesse James is 2 months old (tomorrow)!
I am so happy to report he took a nap in his crib for the first time today. :) We have been holding him (or in the Mei Tai) since birth. He has a bad case of reflux, and does better upright in keeping his meal down. But, he has been doing better lately so I decided it was time to transition him to his crib (safely away from his very helpful, loving 3 year old sister). He is (of course) still sleeping next to me at night.
The transition was much easier than I had anticipated. I waited until he was full, and very, very sleepy, swaddled him, and put him in his crib and snuck away. He was fine for a few minutes, fussed for a few minutes, and then slept peacefully for almost an hour. I must confess I went in once to give him his pacifier. He loves his binky. :)
Perhaps now I can get some things done that I have neglected...like weeding the garden. That's challenging to do with a baby in a sling! :)

I feel for you, Haley & Aaron both had reflux/colic I couldn't put Haley down to sleep until she was 11 mo. old (when they finally gave her medicine), and Aaron I tried desparately from 8 mo. on, but he would cry for hours if you let him:-(. I hope Jesse is feeling better soon.
